This weeks mixtape of the week comes from another Boston native by the name of Interstate Flamez. The Beantown artist delivers the streets The Making of Me, his sophmore project. Interstate Flamez has came up in the rap battle scene in Boston featuring in GrindTime battles, Shark Tank Battlegrounds, and other battles around the city. The very unique title “The Making Of Me” was decided on once Flamez realized that he wanted his mixtape to be a reflection of his actual life and living style. This mixtape displays the rappers lyricism and ability to take his talents out of battling and into the booth. This mixtape features Boston natives Chilla Jones, Chuck Hunnit, and J. Avenue. After watching the Shark Tank Battle I was more than impressed with this Beantown spitter. The punchlines and delivery in the battle were crazy. Interstate Flamez used a rugrat referenced that got the crowd going crazy and caused viewers to rewind video back to back. ” This LIL nigga will get PHILed with the TOMMY if i dumped his face, red dot on his grill like CHUCKY’s face. You think your girlfriends ANGELIC naw she a smut bag I hit it on the carpet thats what I call a RUGRAT.” In the words of Interstate Flamez this battle was a FATALITY!!!
